Glenn Hoddle

Glenn Hoddle
All-time Tottenham great Glenn Hoddle was one of the finest British players of his era, recognised as an immensely gifted attacking midfielder with superb passing skills and close ball control. He made 377 appearances for Spurs, scoring 88 goals and inspiring the club to both FA Cup and UEFA Cup trophies. As Monaco's teammate Jean-Luc Ettori put it: "For us, Glenn was 'le bon dieu' – he was a god. There's nothing else to say."
