Sadio Mane
Sadio Mane
Having joined Liverpool from Southampton in June 2016 in a deal that made him the most expensive African player in the history of football, Sadio Mane was quick to become a fans' favourite on the red half of Merseyside. Seamlessly integrating into Liverpool's "Fab Three" frontline alongside Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho – then temporarily the "Fab Four" with Mohammad Salah before Coutinho's exit – Mane's explosive pace and power bring goals by the barrel-load. The Senegalese attacker was named in the PFA Team of Year for the 2016-17 season as well as scooping Liverpool's Player of the Season and he also holds the record for the Premier League's fastest hat-trick, netting three times in 176 seconds for Southampton in 2015.
