When Portuguese wonderkid Joao Felix won the European Golden Boy award in 2019 he joined a glittering list of superstar names, including the likes of Lionel Messi, Wayne Rooney, Sergio Aguero, Paul Pogba and Kylian Mbappe. Nicknamed the '€120million Boy' by a number of his former teammates at SL Benfica (in reference to his precautionary release fee clause), excited chatter about the attacking midfielder's undeniable potential has followed his every cultured touch of the ball.
