In 1967 Celtic won the European Cup with a side made up of players born within 30 miles of the club's ground. It is a feat which has never been equalled and demonstrates the local passion that defines Celtic as a club. Every home match is played in front of 60,000 adoring fans and they share one of the fiercest rivalries in world football with Glasgow neighbours Rangers. Many legends have worn the green and white hooped jersey down the years, including Bill McNeil, Kenny Dalglish and Henrik Larsson.
