Beloved by a nation that so adores its sport, there can be no doubting Robbie Keane's standing in Irish football folklore. After all, this fox-in-the-box striker made nearly 150 appearances for his country, scoring some 68 goals along the way. Having found the net on so many occasions, the image of Keane cartwheeling through the air was a familiar sight in England and, later on in his distinguished career, the United States of America.
