Fernando Torres

Fernando Torres
He may be known as The Kid but within months of arriving in England with Liverpool, the Anfield faithful were talking of Fernando Torres in the same breath as Dalglish, Fowler and Rush. Armed with pace, touch, intelligent movement and devastating finishing, Torres made the transition from La Liga to the rough and tumble of the Premier League with hardly a break in his elegant stride. Chelsea then spent £50million on the 2010 FIFA World Cup winner, and when he hit his stride, it is easy to see why. Though his time at Chelsea was not exactly a success, Torres will go down in Chelsea history with his last-minute goal against Barcelona putting Chelsea through to the Champions League final of 2012. In 2014 Torres returned to his boyhood club, Atletico Madrid, where he was welcomed home a hero and fans' favourite.
