Alan Kennedy

An attacking full back with an eye for goal, Alan Kennedy was a key part of the great Liverpool side that swept all before them, dominating on the domestic and continental stage. The crowning moment of his career was scoring the winning goal in the 1981 European Cup Final, in which Liverpool beat Real Madrid in Paris. Despite not gaining the recognition he deserved at international level, Alan will always be remembered as a legend of Liverpool FC and was named at number 31 from 100 in the Players Who Shook The Kop series.
