Steve Bull

Steve Bull
Though he was not quite a fully-fledged one-club legend, Steve Bull surely qualifies among those greats of English football who shaped and influenced the singular clubs they so loyally serve. Think Giggs, think Madeley, think Lofthouse. For 13 years Bull was that man for Wolverhampton Wanderers. In fact, such was the impact he had on Wolves, that in 2003 he had a stand named after him at Molineux. Some 306 goals in 561 appearances will afford you that sort of reverence. But it's not just in Wolverhampton that Bull has a legacy. He remains to this day the only English player ever to score a half century of goals for his club in successive seasons. So mark Bull down as a Wolves icon, of course, but don't forget his place in the record books either.
