With the opening match of UEFA EURO 2016<\/a> fast approaching, the staff and partners of Icons.com<\/a> have made their predictions\u00a0for what will happen during the\u00a0month-long festival of football\u00a0in France<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n UEFA EURO 2016<\/a> is set to be the biggest\u00a0European Championships<\/a> ever with an expanded field of twenty-four teams vying for glory in France<\/a>. As an\u00a0official\u00a0UEFA licensee<\/a>, we can hardly wait for the competition to begin. With four home nations competing, including Roy Hodgson’s\u00a0England<\/a> and a Gareth Bale<\/a>-led Wales<\/a> making their tournament debut, there is much to look forward to. Check us out!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n What will happen to England<\/a>?: <\/strong>Quarter-finals.\u00a0<\/strong>The Three Lions<\/a>\u00a0will reach the last eight of the competition but a quarter-final loss will be manager Roy Hodgson’s final match in charge of the national team<\/a>.<\/p>\n Random Predictions:\u00a0<\/strong>Dele Alli<\/a> will be voted into the Team of the Tournament.\u00a0France<\/a> will set the competition alight but lose in the semi-finals on penalties to\u00a0Germany<\/a>.<\/p>\n Above: Icons CEO Dan Jamieson believes England’s Dele Alli will make the UEFA Team of the Tournament<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n Random Predictions:\u00a0<\/strong>Cristiano Ronaldo<\/a> will break Michel Platini’s and become the\u00a0UEFA European Championships<\/a>‘ all-time leading goalscorer. Toni Kroos will complete more passes than any other player but Luka Modric will play more key passes.<\/p>\n Random Predictions: <\/strong>I must be\u00a0loyal Gooner and say that Olivier Giroud<\/a> will continue his fine form for\u00a0France<\/a> and lead them through a good tournament. Mesut Ozil, as usual, will complete the most passes of any player at the competition.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n Above: Could Cristiano Ronaldo become the European Championships’ all-time leading goalscorer?<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n Random Predictions:\u00a0<\/strong>Poland’s Arkadiusz Milik will earn a big money move from Ajax<\/a> after impressing alongside\u00a0Golden Boot winner Robert Lewandowski. It will help usher in a new age for\u00a0strike partnerships in world\u00a0football.<\/p>\n Random Predictions:\u00a0<\/strong>The best game of the tournament will be between Belgium and\u00a0Germany<\/a>, in which the Belgians will deserve to win but see\u00a0Germany<\/a> go through. Paul Pogba will be the Player of the Tournament despite losing in the final to\u00a0Spain<\/a>.<\/p>\n Above: Hot tip? Germany’s Thomas Muller is fancied by many on the Icons team to win the Golden Boot.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n What will happen to England<\/a>?:\u00a0<\/strong>Semi-finals. Staying optimistic but also realistic, as long as England<\/a> can avoid the big guns they can reach the final four.
