Jake LaMotta

The late Jake LaMotta, best known for inspiring Martin Scorsese's 1980 film Raging Bull, was to this day one of the toughest fighters ever to have entered the ring. The Bronx-born boxer was born into poverty but fought his way to stardom, becoming a world middleweight champion with bouts against the great Sugar Ray Robinson on no less than six occasions.
