The famous blue and white shirts of Argentina have been worn by some of the finest players the world has ever known. Perhaps greatest of them all was Diego Maradona, who masterminded the Albicelestes' second and most recent FIFA World Cup victory, in Mexico in 1986, and took them to the final again four years later at FIFA World Cup 1990 Italy™. Since Maradona's retirement many have worn his famous number 10, including Ariel Ortega, Juan Roman Riquelme and the man many argue is yet greater still, Lionel Messi.
