Liverpool won UEFA Champions League 2005 after  launching a comeback scoring 3 goals in the second half. Liverpool won 3-2 in the penalty shoot-out, lifting their fifth European Cup.
Porto won the UEFA Champions League 2004, after beating Monaco  3–0  at the Arena AufSchalke in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.
AC Milan winning UEFA Champions League 2003 after wining the match via a penalty shootout after the game  finished 0–0.
Real Madrid won UEFA Champions League 2002 after winning  Bayer Leverkusen 2-1 with Zinedine Zidane scoring the winning goal, a left-footed volley into the top corner.
Bayern Munich won UEFA Champions League 2001 after beating Valencia  5–4 on penalties. Bayern clinched their fourth title.
Real Madrid won UEFA Champions League 2000 after beating Valencia 3-0 at Stade de France in Saint-Denis, France.
Manchester United winning UEFA Champions League 1999, after beating Bayern Munich 2-1. The match is best remembered for Manchester United scoring two last-minute goals in injury time.
Real Madrid won UEFA Champions League 1998 after defeating Juventus 1–0 at the Amsterdam ArenA in Amsterdam on 20 May 1998.
