MSN: Messi, Suarez, Neymar

With messrs Neymar Jr, Luis Suarez and the incomparable genius that is Lionel Messi, Luis Enrique's first term in charge of FC Barcelona ended with a glorious La Liga, Copa del Rey and UEFA Champions League treble in 2015. MSN, as the trio are now globally known, scored a stratospheric 122 goals between them. With a frontline as famous as Barcelona's, expectation was bound to be sky high but with the "Tres Amigos" instantly gelling in that first season together, belief in Enrique's team was unlike anything ever seen before. So, when the 2015-16 season rolled around, the footballing world anticipated another season of teetotal glory for the Catalans. And though they they were denied the opportunity to become the first team in history to retain the UEFA Champions League, MSN scored a whopping 131 goals together, with Neymar Jr bagging 31, Messi 41 and Suarez topping the scoring charts on 59. In just two seasons together, the South American trio won seven of a possible nine trophies thanks to their more than 250 strikes. Truly, these three goal-hungry assassins were – and continue to be – a modern day tour de force.
