Ruud Gullit

One of the most recognisable footballers in history due his distinctive dreadlocks, Ruud Gullit was once a hero across three nations. A vital player for PSV Eindhoven, Milan and Chelsea, Gullit embodies the Dutch term, Total Football. Able to play several positions, his foremost attribute was his athleticism. Yet, Gullit also was known for his technique, creativity and vision. These qualities helped him score goals early in his career and enabled him to play deeper late in his days and as such, and was capable of aiding his team defensively as well as offensively. Gullit combined the physical with the skilful to become an iconic figure in world football.
