This superb photo shows 1991 US Open wildcard Jimmy Connors celebrating a vital point in his victory over Aaron Krickstein in the fourth round. Thirty-nine-years-old at the time, Connors would go on to reach the semi-finals, where he was beaten by fourth seed Jim Courier. The photo was personally signed the legend himself and supplied to Icons by our trusted US partners. The photo is 16 x 20 inches and comes with its very own Certificate of Authenticity, which proves it is a genuine article of sports memorabilia.

In a celebration of its 40th anniversary in 2005, TENNIS magazine published a list of the 40 best players of the last four decades. Jimmy Connors, the former world number one and eight-time major champion, ranked seventh, behind the likes of Pete Sampras, Martina Navratilova, Steffi Graf and Bjorn Borg. But there are many tennis fans who would have ranked him much higher with little thought. The five-time US Open champion, two-time Wimbledon winner and 1974 Australian Open title holder is still the only male player to win more than 100 titles and has triumphed in over 1,200 matches of the some 1,500 he played in. Quite simply, Jimmy Connors is among the very best of the best.

Courier Details – UK

All unframed or pre-framed orders sent to England and Wales are sent by DHL. We aim to dispatch all orders within two working days so you should receive your orders within three working days of placing them. Please give us a daytime address as all orders have to be signed for.

All unframed orders for Scotland, Northern Ireland and non-Mainland UK islands are sent by DHL. A signature will be required on receipt of your order, so please ensure that someone is available at the delivery address when placing your order.

Courier Details – International (non-UK)

All international orders for framed and unframed products are sent by DHL. Again, unframed items are sent from icons.com within 2 days of the order being placed. All framed items take between 1-5 working days to create, once dispatched the times below apply.

For all international order you will be emailed a DHL tracking code and contact details for DHL if you need to speak to someone about your order. We ask you supply a recipient's phone number too, in case our courier has trouble delivering to you.
