At just 22 years old, James O'Connor has a bright future ahead of him. O'Connor is a versatile player who feels at home in a variety of roles. He has recently featured on the wing for the Wallabies, but can also play at fly-half, inside centre and full-back.
O'Connor's parents are from New Zealand, and his grandparents are from South Africa, meaning the Queensland-born youngster was eligible to play for all three Tri-Nation teams. He became the youngest Super Rugby debutant when he came off the bench for Western Force in 2008, and opted to play for Australia. On his debut for the Wallabies, O'Connor scored three tries to help them beat Italy 31-8. He already has 28 caps to his name.
