Joe Montana

There have been a great number of legendary quarterbacks throughout the history of the NFL but few as important to the legacy of its franchise as Joe Montana. The iconic San Francisco 49ers signal caller played under centre for fourteen glorious years in which time he won four Lombardi Trophies following victories in Super Bowls XVI, XIX, XXIII and XXIV. He was named NFL MVP in 1989 and 1990 and was inducted into Canton's Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2000. Nicknamed "Joe Cool", Montana is undoubtedly among the sport's royal family and adored by the Faithful 49ers fandom around the world.
