Lineker Signed England 1986 World Cup Shirt
Personally signed by Gary Lineker
This replica England 1986 World Cup Shirt has been personally signed by striker Gary Lineker on November 27, 2008 in London.
Lineker is one of the greatest forwards of the modern game and, with 48 international goals from 80 appearances, England's second highest scorer ever after Sir Bobby Charlton. Six of those were notched during the Mexico 1986 World Cup, when Lineker was the tournament's top scorer.
A memorable hat-trick against Poland when England were faced with elimination, followed by two more against Paraguay put England into a quarter-final against arch rivals Argentina. Two goals by Maradona - the infamous hand of God goal, followed by the greatest goal ever scored - were answered by a Lineker header. England nearly fought back to win but it was not to be. Lineker, however, had written his name into the record books.
This superb items of sports memorabilia comes in presentation packaging and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
